while i'm free associating online, how about this:  according to the
news, Wal-Mart is involved in a class-action law suit that covers 1.6
MILLION women who either work there or have worked there.

this is amazing to me.  there are about 280 million amerikans, half
women.  most women work half their life (or, looked at another way,
half of the women in the country are employed at any given time).
that would be about 140 million women, 70 million or so employed.
that means that almost TWO PERCENT of working women in amerika either
have or do work for wal mart.  talk about your Gramscian social
hegemonic post-modern cluster fuck . . .
