The Tate Modern is free and when I've been it's not been too busy.
Plus you will see the Millenium Bridge, which is pretty cool.

Freedom is closed, unfortunately. I'm not sure about Housman's at
Kings Cross (probably will be shut).

yes, you are right about the happiness/etc bit. As for the clashing
of idealism and reality, she is only three months so so far that is
not an issue. I try and do my share of the looking after, but I'm
at work during the week.
