i think it's a bit more than that.  ray-gun ronnie represents the
'golden age' of modern conservatism and lots of right wingers are
looking for a reagan-style leader.  but this will pass and iraq will
still be there.

has anyone noticed the, er, lack of 'color' among the mourners?  a
martian landing would have to conclude that ronnie must have been a
great prez for all them white folks.

hey, anybody know what's up with red ken (or is he pink now?) in
london?  heard on our version of radio 4 that he's all kissy-kissy
with blair and labour.  thought they had a big split where he got the
house and they got the kids?  no?  isn't he up for re-election?
please don't make me look it up on the damn internet.
