Therefore, any American president is automatically a good person. Unless, of course, he or she is a Democrat, since only Republicans are true Americans. More than 10 million have died directly or indirectly by US hands in Asia (according to an author interviewed on BBC radio today). We are so sorry that they had to be slaughtered in order to be liberated. Only a great man like Reagan could have the intestinal fortitude to kill them in the name of capitalist imperialism..er...I mean freedom. And we'll kill 10 million more if they try to attack us again. Democracy is to US foreign policy what God is to the right of kings. I even actually heard Cheney (or was it Asscroft) claim divine right for Bush on Larry King's TV show, admonishing Americans to accept his legitimacy as president since God saw fit to put him in power. -m -----Original Message----- From: owner-anarchy-list-AT-lists.village.Virginia.EDU [mailto:owner-anarchy-list-AT-lists.village.Virginia.EDU]On Behalf Of Bob Gambs Sent: Monday, June 14, 2004 10:38 AM To: Ali Kazmi; Iain McKay; anarchy-list-AT-lists.village.virginia.edu Subject: Re: Ronald Reagan: Corpse to sheathed in diamonds and shot into orbit around Earth as a second Moon. Yep, they seem to have forgot Acton's accurate observation that "Great men are almost always bad men."
