From: "roger" <babeuf-AT-comcast.net> Subject: political rhetoric Date: Sat, 24 Jul 2004 18:38:37 -0700 heard this on our public radio --- it was written on a wall in boston in the 1790's by a republican (pro froggie rev) about the federalist john jay, who had just negotiated a treaty favorable to england: "Damn John Jay. Damn anyone won't Damn John Jay. Damn anyone who won't put a light in his window and sit up all night Damning John Jay." now that has the sound of call heartfelt sincerity. roger
