Joshua, did this e-mail appear to be from a relative
of Old Goat?

Could you please forward to this list the email
from that other list?

I am treating this news with caution until we
have something more. I remember a few years
ago Brad Suspicious (I think that was his name)
was a regular poster to the anarchy list until
he decided for reasons of his own to spread
a rumour of his own death. Keri had talked
with this guy on the phone, and was upset
to hear that somebody she felt she "knew"
had died. Later, Brad S. realised his prank
or whatever it was had gone wrong and, with
considerable embarrassment, he admitted
he was still alive.

Keri has just corrected what I've written above,
saying that it was apparently a "friend" of Brad's
who wrote a message saying that Brad was dead.

Now, I am not saying that Goat or anyone
connected with him would do anything like
that, but nevertheless I think we treat this news
with caution until we hear something more.
Hopefully, the news of Goat's death will
prove to be exaggerated.
