hey carp,

don't sweat 'em just claim, like bobby dylan, that "it ain't you they're lookin' for"
identity is such a slippery thing. i just got a letter, along with a jury summons (not as a defendent this time; but don't talk to me about the advantages of voting right now), from the central washington grain growers, inc (a farm warehouse) informing me that they've received the silo of grain (wheat i think) that i sent them. upon calling them (to inform them that, other than a box of wheaties, i didn't have a silo of wheat to send them), they asked if i'd like my check. at over $3 a bushel, i was sorely tempted to take the money and do a runner.

but alas, some poor farmer has obviously misplaced HIS wheaties. however, it does go to show how easy it is to get mighty lost and confused about who is whom and what way is which.

in any event, if i am the proud owner of a few tons of fresh, wholesome washington state produce, tell chuck0 and any other un/underemployed activists to come out and start a fucking bakery. i'll donate the flour.

roger

hey carp,

don't sweat 'em just claim, like bobby dylan, that "it ain't you they're lookin' for"

identity is such a slippery thing.  i just got a letter, along with a jury summons (not as a defendent this time; but don't talk to me about the advantages of voting right now), from the central washington grain growers, inc (a farm warehouse) informing me that they've received the silo of grain (wheat i think) that i sent them.  upon calling them (to inform them that, other than a box of wheaties, i didn't have a silo of wheat to send them), they asked if i'd like my check.  at over $3 a bushel, i was sorely tempted to take the money and do a runner.

but alas, some poor farmer has obviously misplaced HIS wheaties.  however, it does go to show how easy it is to get mighty lost and confused about who is whom and what way is which.

in any event, if i am the proud owner of a few tons of fresh, wholesome washington state produce, tell chuck0 and any other un/underemployed activists to come out and start a fucking bakery.  i'll donate the flour.
