well, it's all over.  my old, favorite home town of cleveland could only 
come up with 50000 of the 150000 votes kerry needed.  bush will win.  worse, 
the republicans swept the senate and house races.  total defeat for the 
anti-bush forces.

the bushies will no doubt claim a mandate and move even further to the 
right.  this is not a happy day.  i can't wait til our monorail is built.  i 
really can't.
