well, i know i've always felt more righteous in inverse proportion to the
number of people who agree with me. so, as you can imagine, my levels of
self-righteousness are at historical highs.

i'm actually quite cheered by the geographical and demographic distribution
of the vote. bush lost by 11+ points among under 30s and by anywhere from 5
to 10 points in the blue states. it's encouraging that he failed to take a
single metropolitan area.

so my solution is to re-fight the civil war, immediately surrender, arrange
for the refugee exodus (literally) north of blacks, queers, and old hippies,
and let the rest of the mother-fuckers go. good god-damn riddence.

one thing this puts the lie to is the myth of 'the heartland' as a
repository of traditional american (or even capitalist) values. most of the
rural areas that supported bush the strongest are the least economically
viable and, ironically, the largest recepients of federal dollars. south
dakota farmers, who ousted the dem senate leader, are the biggest welfare
queens in america. and the great swath of the bible belt from which i come,
from alamaba to carolina, is notable for it's monolithic support for bush as
well as for the total absence of jobs, especially well-paying ones. the
islands of houston, atlanta and charlotte are lonely outposts of
civilazation . . . poor fuckers.

wal-mart america may not bat an eye at an unprovoked war that's being fought
on the tops of a civilan population for bogus reasons, but at least they can
get excited about bashing some fucking faggots. gotta love these folks, may
they rot in hell. what would one expect from the (unrepentent) decendents
of slave-holders.

sorry, carp, but we may have to trade indiana to hang onto ohio (cleveland
rocks ya know).

roger

sorry about the annoying corporate crap below
