i note you avoid any substantive issues, such as who exactly
establishes and maintains property rights?

by the way, do you even know what 'private' property means?  a good,
working capitalist definition might go something like this:  property
is 'private' when the 'owner' can exclude others from using it.  can
we begin by stipulating this definition?  it comes right from the
textbooks, nes pas?

so i repeat my question:  by whom and how are property rights
established and maintained?

bonus joke (everybody's heard it):  lord palmerston or gladstone or
some brit PM once said when asked about proudoun's assertion that
'property is theft' :   'well, don't know about that but a hell of a
lot of theft has been turned into property'

at least he wasn't a hypocrit.
