exactly.  sci-fi was among my earliest influences and hard sci-fi
above all.  i like a lot of the new 'hard' guys like greg bear and
binford (real scientist), but i don't read nearly as much as i used
to.

yeah, i discovered him a few years ago and have read everything i can
find.  finishing up his latest paperback now.  he is amazing, and
funny as shit.
