I looked up my issues of Critique to find I don't have these but I do have issue 5 and
the debate concluded in that issue.

It was called 'Soviets and Factory Committees in the Russian Revolution' and its on my
web site at www.geocities.com/~johngray/raclef.htm. Its short but the footnotes contain
some useful references. Another interesting book is Oscar Anweilers 'The Soviets. The
Russian Workers, Peasants, and Soldiers Councils 1905-1921' [Random House 1974]. John
Keep's 'The Russian Revolution - A study in mass mobilisation' [W.W.Norton 1976] has two
short chapters about factory committees - its from a hostile perspective but contains
some interesting information based on Russian sources.

I'd hope that the opening up of archives in Russia would have produced some more stuff.
Does anyone know of any ?
