Subject: insight on squatting/direct action, etc.?

would anyone point out internet or other resources on direct
action, especially squatting (and/or contribute some thoughts on the
matter to this list)?

I would like to use such resources to bridge the gap which exists in my
mind while I read aut-op-sy between the constant news of actions,
especially strikes and demos, and the current debate on bolos and the
economics of communist societies -- i.e. how to we get 'there' from
'here'?

I also ask because I have put up a web page for a squatting group
called Homes Not Jails Boston and have quite a good page of links to
squats/direct actions --
http://www.geocities.com/CapitolHill/7996/links.html -- but am lacking
the kind of insights and reflections common on aut-op-sy, including
connections with autonomist concepts like social spaces/centres, as well
as historical or other lessons about direct action's limitations.

Homes Not Jails is organizing a regional (NorthEast USA) conference on
direct action, including a large squat June 13 and I will pass on whatever
you send me and/or aut-op-sy to that conference.
