It is worth remembering that MayDay is also Celtic -- that is, more
generally, pre-Christian and in honor of the earth's annual rebirth.  We
ought to celebrate this green side as well as the red (or black if you
prefer) side of our history.  We are, after all, not just workrs and working
class, but human and animal -- aspects which, to make us workers, capital
tries to both repress and turn into work and accumulation.
