The Portland IWW has been maintaining a UPS Strike Web Site at
www.teleport.com/~obu/obulletins.html

The strike has been "settled" in that the company and union management
agreed on a new contract. Of course, being that the US is the land of the
Free, the strikers have no say in the matter.

I recieved the following report this morning:

>A local news report on WBZ TV last night said strikers at the Somerville
>MA UPS depot are staying out and demanding that all strikers be called
>back before any of them return. Four striking workers who had been charged
>with breaking the law on the picket line were terminated. I don't know
>what "crimes" they were charged with or how much support the action is
>getting from the Teamsters leadership, but somebody ought to be paying
>attention!

for the one big union,

>Sorry about this, I know someone posted these before, but could some
>kind soul send me a list of websites about the UPS strike? Another
>Transport Worker bulletin is in the writing over here and they want
>to include something on it.
