I was on the line last night with them here in Austin, and the basic issue
they seem to be putting forth is the moving of full time work to part time
and subcontracted work, with lower hourly pay. I definitely do not here
them calling for reduced hours for the same pay. It is for more full time
positions, but they are paid hourly and that is not being challenged. There
is also the issue of pensions, but it is not clear what is the exact point.
I'll ask them today.
