Certainly things can be learnt from reading Lenin; indeed Lenin was often able to make many useful contributions, but he was deeply suspicious of independent (i.e. of his organization) working class action. The fine words and phrases of "stae and Revolution" retreated qucikly before Bolsheivk practice. Finally, "Stalin was not bad..." One of the greatest tragedies of the century took place long before the final collapse of the "Soviet" Union in 1991. Cgs Neil --- from list aut-op-sy-AT-lists.village.virginia.edu ---
