Unions function ( mainly peddling labor power) in non-revolutionary period and histroy shows that the best of them are sucked into loyalty to capital and the bosses nation states --or else get destroyed by that state. They would by nature , have to include many workers who are in no way for revolution and still mystified with petty-bourgeois dreams of good lives as waged slaves and "good citizens". Your attempt to portray my statements on the developement of the nation states and effective opposition in the modern epoch as some kind of "High-noon style blood lust is disengenuous. I merely outlined the bosses state forces that are arrayed against workers and the devastations they have wrought and will continue to inflict on workers-world wide if a new revolutionary movements are not forged in struggle . Instead of vaporing about my alleged like for 'barbarian' methods, you should think about ways to intervene in the workers struggles against capital and size up the actual situation -and draw out the modern dialectical conclusions. I would only remind you also that it was Daniel Deleon himself as a member of the US syndicalist IWW (1905-8) - that even with his own prior and later illusions in electoralism stated; "A revolutinary who seeks the cloak of legality is a revolutionary spent" "If the capitalists resist the revolutionary taking and holding by the workers of the insruments of wealth production, the workers will mop the earth with the barbarian capitalist class." I think Deleon was more accuate than you on who the real barbarians were. And the bosses collective barbarism has only increased many-fold since the days of Daniel Deleon.
