No, just that the US, French and British left is more presumptuous. It is
presumptuous for people like Reeves to dispense advice in this fashion.
People in third world struggles seem to have more sense.

Reeves is a fool. I am disappointed that somebody as bright as Katha Pollit
does not see through his foolishness. I can understand how the trust fund
liberals running the Nation today can come up with all sorts of mistaken
ideas, but when a respected columnist can attach her name to the puerile
ultraleftism of Reeves, I get depressed.
