Subject: AUT: Looking for sources Italy in struggle 68-82

Hello listmembers,

Whilst I know that it isn't directly in the remit of this list ("to
provide a forum in which to explore the
changing nature of class composition and class struggle within the
planetary work machine") but I can't think of a place to find people
more likely to be able to answer the following request.

Where can I find material on the history of the class struggle in Italy
between 1968 and 1982? I am interested in the context that stimulated
the development of autonomist theory in Italy. Unfortunately my progress
in learning Italian is very poor so I am limited to sources in English
and French.

P.S. A few years back I translated and article by Oreste Scalzone which
appeared in the French anti-fascist magazine "Reflexes". It was
originally commissioned by the publishers of Renato Curzio's biography
(he had recently been released at the time) but they rejected it as "too
political". Any takers? Also where do I check out progress on the
campaign for amnesty for the prisoners from this period (now of course
including Negri?)

thanks,

Paul Bowman
