This is one of the oldest HOAXES around. All bills in House of
Representatives are preceded w/ HR. Visit the CIAC site at the U.S. Dept of
Energy on Internet hoaxes.
Usually I've seen this exact same tax on right-wing lists and I'm not
talking say readers of Commentary, more like the National Enquirer, in terms
of preferred reading matter.
    As an aside to Yoshie and Angela from the lbo- list- I enjoy your
contributions to Doug's list, keep on keeping on.
