Calling all Visionaries!

At long last-- we are beginning to formulate proposals for the sorts of
networks/ structures/events we would like to see come out of this
tremendous mobilization.

Our first meeting is this Thursday evening at 8 pm at Cafe Vida (Pike
and 10th) in Seattle.
(Many of you are not in Seattle -- and so we will dialogue via email as
well-- a listserve as soon as possible-- but for now I can serve as a
funnel.)

Many ideas about longer term structures have been floating around--
and we hope that though this group we can collect all the strands
together and consider the possibility for coordinating these proposed
efforts into an identifiable movement.


Some of the ideas we heard floated:

   * An database
   * an ongoing independent media group
   * an ongoing spokes-council of affinity groups
   * future global days of action/ simultaneous actions
   * a news letter and/or web page
   * forums for further developing our revolutionary politics
   * mediums through which to publicize our revolutionary politics
   * an giant activist caravan (arts, music, workshops...the whole bit)

We will be inviting people to participate in a series of discussions on
this topic during the convergence and hope that we can come up with some
concrete proposals before the 30th.
