Hi Paul,

I thought it was clear from my introduction that I
didn't agree with  the posts I forwarded. I forwarded
them because, to be honest, I'm unable to counter all
of the arguments (the non-ad hominem ones) in them
myself, owing to a lack of knowledge. The replies I
got were quite useful.
I agree that they are depressingly sectarian, but they
are representative too.
