and we see what happened there: state-capitalism. that's what vanguardism
gets ya... capitalism.

i agree... the fact that they are vanguardist (if not a full fledged
vanguard party) means that they are coutner-revolutionary to the core... and
it seems like the bulk of proles in the world have had enough of leninist
dribble. and good riddance... so, yes, thankfully, they will not participate
in / lead / or whatever revolution. what we have to worry about is that they
will be counter-revolutionaries, just like all leninists before them.

marx against hierarchy:

"The social relation of individuals to one another as a power over the
individuals which has become autonomous, whether conceived as a natural
force, as chance or in whatever form, is a necessary result of the fact that
the point of departure is not the free social individual." from the
grundrisse

therefore: since marx viewed the "free social individual" as the basis of a
communist society, the existance of hierarchy means that a communist society
has not come to pass (that is: capitalism, or some form of class society,
exists)... and thus the hierarchy(ies) will have to be overthrown.
