If he really wants his book to serve a practical purpose, to influence large numbers of people, he ought to make provision for its publication on the web. If that puts Harvard University press out, then too bad, surely? Many *apolitcal* academics have their in-print works online for free now... If somebody like me wanted to put the book online,they would have to type it all out and format it again - a severe drain on their time. For Negri, however, it would be a simple matter, as he must already have an electronic manuscript. For those living in countries with weak currencies,even first world countries, that figure is doubled or even tripled.
