hi all

my two cents on the punk thing. i once heard punk described as having a 
petit-bourgeois critique of (large-scale) capitalist commodity production 
but no critique of capitalism as such. something i'd more or less agree 
with. the frequent moralistic calls that punk bands stay on indy labels have 
always seemed pretty pointless to me. but then i am compromised by liking 
major label punks such as Rancid.
