Two actions of the Mossley workers

August 22, after 60th day of occupation of their spinning mill, Mossley
workers launched two actions commandos.  One at the house of a former
director, whose garden was copiously filled with reels of wire.  The other
at
the Damart company in Lille, where balls of wire were flaring:  Damart was
the principal customer of the spinning mill of Hellemmes, with 64 % of the
sales turnover, and it is the retreat of this company which caused the
liquidation of the spinning mill.

After two months of fights and actions, Mossley workers still did not obtain
from "social plan".  After the first table-round of negotiations, the
employers'
propositions were even downed.  The Mossley workers are increasingly
determined to put on the pressure, in particular on the stock of wire of
which
they ensure the guard:  700 tons, whose commercial value is estimated at 3
million Euros, and that they menaced to make flame if no solution can be
found.  Like an union representative says it:  "If the cops enter the
factory,
we'll destroys stock in the minutes which follow.  In Cellatex, they
promised
to to pour acid in the river, and they had an exemplary social plan.  Then
here, one does us like that."  And when one knows the combativeness and
the determination of Mossley workers, we know that it's not idle talk!
