Commie that is right "discussion and debate are an important part of
political growth " , ,
Maybe all I was getting at is the fact that this notion of Empire being
put on this list and in your last post
And by default Negri - Hardt,. are a post Marxist in a number of ways,
which I like, don't get me wrong
But going through allot the post Marxist thinkers guy the bore,
hork-adorno, etc (not Negri and Hardt) I keep feeling that the only thing
to do is ironically mimic the modernist gestures and stances of
revolutionaries who had authentic belief in their own actions and
projects. What I found wishy washy is the part in your post was the
inference that anti-imperialist states, Iraq, Yugoslavia, etc. are more or
less quantitatively no different than their the Empire with regards as to
how they treat their own citizens. I think it is true in someways that
Milo and Sadam are repressive in a number of ways (or allot) but still the
spirit of the people and the collective will positioned in a anti-empire
society and culture should not be underestimated in terms of the , since
in my view all states are, and have been repressive
but we still have to play into the idealism even if itis ironic
