Subject: AUT: neo-utopian socialism


Perhaps, I'm a minority in this regard, but I really
think "neo-utopian socialism", is exceedingly useful
in this period of capitalism. Part of the problem,
today, is the dominance of TINA (There is No
Alternative), hence utopian thinking is extremely
useful at breaking TINA's ideological hold on the
working class.

The purpose of utopian thinking is not to offer a
blueprint of what a socialist society will look like,
rather to show that alternatives to capitalism are possible.
