the Oz ISO has always advocated voting for Labour. the newly formed 
Socialist Alliance is i believe preferencing the Greens then Labour. ISO 
posters often call for the removal of the Liberal govt - an implicit call to 
vote Labour. at the last federal election when we were distributing leaflets 
outside a polling booth suggesting people not vote (it is compulsory to vote 
in federal and state/territory elections in Oz) we were abused by ISO 
members who were there to call for a vote for Labour. hardly very 
threatening to the left-wing of the Oz ruling class is it?
