I have expanded the notes on the margin of the Aufhaben 10 to the first 1/3
of the document.

The main point they missed was the wrong analysis of the classes of
Israel, and the complicated development of these along the years.

Missing the settler colonialist nature of Israel and its naZionist leading
ideology resulted in entirely wrong understanding of the settlements.

It also missed entirely the real dynamic change from settler colonialist
project to a near normal capitalist state which we are on the verge of.

If you do not recognize it, you cannot understand the increasing strikes
of workers in Israel in war time. You will also be hard to understand
why the respected capitalist daily is nearly the mouth peace of the opponents
of the occupation, nor will you understand how come that 25% of the
Jewish citizens are sympathizing with the petition of the reservists combat
commanders that call for refusing to serve in the occupied territories.

When the respected media start to call the prime minister and his click
war crime mongers, it is really a serious crisis for the ruling elite.

If any one is really interested I can send on request the three available texts
I have.

Just a sample of a missed points:
Most of the peripheral regions of Israel are inhabited mainly by low working
class strata of oriental Jews. One of the popular slogans is "money for the
poor neighborhoods and not for the settlements".

Ilan
