Not so silly Andy in its coootext, but juxtaposed is seems like a contradiction.

The first bit refers to labeling (self-labeling and labeling of others) - ie we are all in the same struggle (hence the same flag, the same name and on the same side)

The second bit refers to the method of so-called debate which seems to be reolving around positions rather than attempts to understand reality. A position is a formular meant to capture and aspect of reality, truth is simple positions never do and complex positions don't readily become formulars.

Andy, why not just grab out the seperate words and arrange them in an even more absurd way?
