A great Chinese poet, who was also a great military expert of geurila strategy and tactics... who also new one thing or two learned from a long history of social struggles, wrote an article relevant to the subject we floated around. The article printed 1957 is labeled "on the correct handling of contradictions among the people". It explaned why the leadership of the winning revolution is bound to betray it. Though he was very wise, he was not bold enough to do the obvious - fighting to dstroy the authoritarian party before it was too late. Though he did not use the concept of authoritarianism, he describe the result of people in authority given the authority by the masses who accept the hyerarchical social order. For people who did not guess the name of this person, a google.com will reveal it. Surprise surprise, but 9 years later (1966), while I read it and translated for distribution, I started the final stage of "converting" to the libertarian communism.
