Greetings Greg,
point well taken, the non-authoritarian or far left
should all be comrades (and i think we also need to
understand this as all those who are not content to
wait for some other revolution off in the distant
future so this includes feminists, ppl working against
racism, ecologists, gay liberation folks, the list
could continue) well i guess the whole multitude
really is, but the problem is that
pro-spectacle/empire/nation building ideologies such
as leninism and social democracy and even much more
reactionary stuff makes some of our comrades work
against us... we just have to keep building the
movement, educate others, propagandize (of course this
should include genuine dialogues with folks not just
taking a pulpit and/or getting in ppl's faces, or
writing in bourgeois academic journals or even far
left newsletters, etc)... but anyway the 'there's only
one flag rhetoric' is pretty silly (just a thought but
i've been listening to the band black flag a lot
lately and i think that they are kinda of nihilistic
into individualist chaos type anarchism [read their
politics are pretty bad] so maybe there shouldn't be a
flag to march behind, maybe there is no point in our
movement having flags at all aren't these just the
ticker tapes of empires?), black or red flag or no
flag it's the same struggle, against nations, against
wage slavery, for community, against racism, sexism,
etc., etc...
in struggle,
-Sean
