   Do a google search for these sources. Marc Herold, Project
on Defense Alternatives and finally Martin Shaw, formerly of
the SWP there in the U.K. Herald has a huge study on civilian
casualties, that was featured widely in USA leftish journals
(and even mentioned in the rightist Financial Times there in
the UK), the Project on Defense Alternatives, a liberal think
tank came up with lower #'ers than Herald. Shaw maintains a website,
with a mix of contributors from ex-marxists like Fred Halliday
to left-liberal/socdems.
