If the primary US-UK interest in waging this capitalist war with Iraq, et
al.
is not really  Oil ,as you say ,( actually profits and control of 
Oil supplies, $ exchange monopoly of US,) and strategic 
bases, etc, than what the hell are these high stakes 
of  tens/hundreds of  billions cost  in military power being
used for?? Do you think American imperialism just 
overdosed on testosterone, as the radical feminists say?

This is an achilles heel here, of course Oil supply-tapping  and
control plays a huge role here in this ,  thats why bourgeois commentators
and their appendages can drone on for hours on this coming  blitz
assault , without even mentioning the "O" word at all--
that's not likely to get the  soldiers, sailors, etc fire in the
belly up to support/create the mass killing fields, again, or to 
work up US  mass support for murder, especailly  of civilians.
Better to talk of the latest recreation of ----Hitler!

Also then , why are the French , Russians, and German 
imperialism uncomfortable -to put it mildly- that the US
is taking the lions share of that mid-east Oil booty via 
war and occupation, $$ Exchange control  vs Euro?? 
Are they battling for  Iraqi 'democracy' and 'humanitarianism'
with the US?
