Subject: AUT: Fwd: Sparts' new stuff on the anti-war movement, Palestine, Korea

I've just been tracking down some Sparts literature to
put on the 'related reading' section AIC website,
since we have a Sparts supporter involved. The Sparts
get a hard time on this list, but some of their new
stuff is really interesting, and well-written (ie
soberly written) too:

Fight U.S. Imperialism Through Class Struggle at Home!
http://www.icl-fi.org/ENGLISH/Iraq796.htm
Interesting overview of the US anti-war movement, with
a critique of ANSWER which looks back to the SWP's
role in the Vietnam War protests (in my opinion the
Sparts go overboard when they define Popular Fronts -
they're afraid of contaimination etc etc, much like
left communists).

LRP: Apologists for Arab Nationalism
http://www.icl-fi.org/ENGLISH/LRP796.htm
Critique of another small US Trotskyist group which
raises again the old question: can there be a workers'
revolution in Palestine without a workers' revolution
in Israel?

U.S. Imperialism Hands Off North Korea!
http://www.icl-fi.org/ENGLISH/korea795.htm
Includes some interesting information on the situation
in the South, including the recent elections, as well
as a critique of the WWP's uncritical support for
North Korea
