Remove Scott from this list!
Communists/anarchist have nothing in common with Stalinist!

To Scott's particular Stalinist blend of pro-capitalist,
pro-fascist policies and systematic dishonesty.

"Nowhere do they talk about the workers of the Third
World and especially Iraq overthrowing the likes of Saddam
on their own (albeit initially in a military bloc to
repel invasion with the anti-imperialist parts of
their own bourgeoisie). They don't call for the
defence of Iraq, though that was probably too much to
ask. "

"In the meantime, demanding that Third World states get
rid of their tiny stockpiles for self-defence is reactionary
in the extreme."

"Does the IWW know about the thwarted workers revolution
in Iraq in 1991?"

As Scott well know, whatever the faults of IWW, they do
support a general strike against war, workers uprising in
Iraq and elsewhere, even if not mentioned in each and
every resolution. Of course in Scott's absurd world
all that counts are the sectarian paper wars of die-hard
advocates of state capitalism..

As is clear from the above and everybody who have
followed Scotts consistent advocacy of class
collaboration -- including with Nazis -- on this list, Scott
supports workers serving as cannon fodder in capitalist
wars, so as to defend "their" capitalist regimes. The Iraqi
workers in 1991 were not as stupid to follow Scott's
absurd advice to defend capitalism and their butchers
in the Bath regime. They deserted and turned their
weapons the other way as soon as they got a change.

The refer to "anti-imperialist parts of their own bourgeoisie"
in regards to imperialist Bathist Iraq is even more absurd
than usual, but not surprising coming from a Stalinist position.
(That he calls it Trotskyism does not change the substance.)

What Scott is doing on list supposed to promote
working class self-emancipation -- and not state
capitalism and Stalinist policies -- is beyond me.

If Scott is not removed from this list I will remove
myself. I will no longer be part of giving his particular
form of antihuman and anti-working class policies
legitimacy.
        He is *consciously,* *systematically* and
*manipulatively* changing the whole character of this list
following an old and tried Stalinist tradition.
Somewhere a line has to be drawn!
Communists/anarchists have nothing in common with Stalinist!

Harald
