I am going to side with Thiago on this for the most
part.  ANSWER/WWP does do some underhanded
stuff...that needs to be criticized.  However, I like
to call them the Kim Il Sung Bus company..because that
is the extent of their influence.  They are basically
bus organizers and protest permit obtainers.  Most
people who come to anti-war rallies which they
organize (although now it is usually done tripartite
with NION and United For Peace) know next to nothing
about ANSWER.  They come because they are against the
war.

I do think it is fair game to criticize them when they
try to turn "peaceful" protesters against those who
decide to take more direct actions or other acts of
opportunism which rightly pisses off a lot of
activists...However, to spend a lot of energy on
criticizing their politics, etc (I have been guilty of
this in the past) is a waste of time and ends up
giving them more credibility than they deserve.
