Sounds right. Some folks I work with/know in Chicago were very active in 
supporting one of the death row prisoners who was commuted (or pardoned) and 
released from prison (many on death row had sentences commuted and so are 
serving life instead of being outright murdered. Anyway, he was framed. Of 
course this happens in many cities and occasionally the stories come to 
light. He's African American, the folks to whom this most happens. 

And did I read of prison guard torture rings recently exposed in Chicago?
