Nate,

News & Letters reported extensively on both the Sh'ite and Kurdish rebellions 
in the late stages of the past Gulf War. We also helped organize a rally in 
support ot it at that point in Chicago, which was unfortunately boycotted by 
the entire Left (through it received enthusiastic support from the Kurdish 
and Assyrian exile community here). Back issues which document the events are 
available in the N&L bound volume covering 1990-91, available at our office 
and at some libraries.
