It's a shame to see people either totally rejecting or 'devils advocate' 
accepting this new Negri piece.  If you ask me, he and Hardt have realized 
their representative political power as left theorists in the age of 
capital's globalization.  Instead of pretending to be leaders of a 
proletarian, revolutionary movement and be charlatans to such a praxis, 
they've cut their losses and are lobbying the 'aristocracies' with a 
position that has basically nothing to do with what they've spent their 
whole life fighting for and theorizing about.  I see it as a tactical shift 
to employ leverage and cut ties now that they've accumulated too much weight 
in certain circles.
