Peter,

 

Did not Marx address himself and his topics differently depending upon who he was addressing? I don't see anything wrong with the article, specifically as it addresses a very specific audience that would be just as disinterested in Negri's MBM as they would in his Alma Venus. They're not people with only one voice. Surely some people will think that it is better to alot no compromise regardless of who one addresses. I think tactically however, that would be very unproductive. 

I think its always best to try to figure out why and what someone is doing before critiqing it. Now if one argues that this isn't gonna convince anyone of anything, then thats another matter.
