No, I am not thinking of making "Stop Outsourcing" a slogan in my leaflet. I want to discuss the lay-offs and outsourcing in relation to the crisis and restructuring of global capitalism. I especially want to put challenge people to imagine a better world and to start forming workers councils, or at least start thinking about these things, reading, discussing, taking action. Your idea about "we want full lives" is well taken and I will definitely incorporate it into the leaflet. I know one fellow who was just laid-off. For the past two years he has worked from 8AM til 9PM at night and he goes in and works both Saturday and Sunday. It devastated his social and family life. This is not atypical in the Silicon Valley. Probably most people dont work quite that hard for so long...but there are many people who do and those who dont have similar horror stories. Anyway, keep your suggestions coming...this was a great suggestion! Thomas --- Eric Blair <eric-AT-thinkerforum.com> wrote: > What message do you want to get across? > > Stop outsourcing?
