Lowe-

I've just moved to a new apartment and the phone and internet don't
work there. While I wait for it to get fixed, I'm stuck using internet
cafes, libraries, and friend's houses. Once the situation is rectified
and I am more fully integrated into the general intellect ;) I'll send
you my list of recent operaismo books in Spanish and the sites I found
them on.

Multitude is just out here in the US. I'm about half done with it.
It's good. More readable, I think, than _Empire_. _Empire_ was a much
newer set of concepts for me than this book is, though, so I'm finding
reading it I say "hmm, I see" more often than "oh wow!".

take care,
Nate

I find that if I ever want to get hysterically bothered about something I read the WSJ and it does it for me, without fail! The level of "reaction", the cynicism! I didn't really expect it to be any less cynical, but somehow I still managed fool myself into thinking the reviewer might have actually taken the time to read a book thats about 100% anti-WSJ. Has the book come out in the States already?

But its been out since 2002 in German as Fetisch Geld. From what I understood from the cover of that book it was something along the lines of Doug Henwoods book critiquing 'New Economy' ideology, but I could be wrong. It gives me headaches reading in German. But yes, very little or very slow with producing English translations in these fields. Is there so little interest there? And its not just the Italian, but even a lot of the contemporary French economic and labor related literature I never see in English, nor in Spanish. If I thought there'd be any money in it I'd try doing it myself. Anyhow, thanks.
