Subject: AUT: arguments for anarchism

Anarchism would be a logical outcome of a view that
everyone is saintly. It would also be a logical
outcome of a view that everyone is evil. And of a
view that people are somewhere in between. None of
these positions could lead to statism, because in any
case, the harm caused by a few powerful rulers would
be greater, or the good done by the majority would be
lesser, as a reult of a concentration of power in a
few hands.

Statism is logical only if an asymmetry is assumed, so
that some are assumed to be in some way superior and
therefore justified in ruling over others. This is a
necessary principle in even the most benevolent
statisms, as expressed (for instance) in assumptions
that individual faults are the cause of "crime", which
is then used to justify punishment.
