Historically, this is the moment when the marginalized or
dissident group injects its bourgeoisie into the general
bourgeoisie, that is, the group "mainstreams."  I refer you
to the various isms in the arts, as well as several
political and social movements, for example the labor
movement, the civil rights movement, feminism.  Oscar Wilde
becomes the boy next door.

If they are cunning, those bearing the mark of Cain bid
their former colleagues farewell and move on.
