A point of info there: UK-USA surface mail seems to be moving fast these
days - I posted that article last Sunday - so if anyone's using that mail
route for anything it seems reasonable to save on airmail.

Regarding the article itself, when the mag. was published I asked the
editor for a raw text version (and author clearance) but nothing came of
this, possibly because of the mag's other troubles at the time.  Maybe
someone should render it into text for discussion, although its view of
the avant-garde institutions may be a bit anglo-centric (the author works
at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London)?
