It's funny -- almost forty years ago, in my teens, I 
wrote a satire about a man who killed people, chopped up
their corpses, and reattached them in odd ways to form
"sculptures."  Convinced that my story, although original
with me, must have been preceded by many pre-imitators, I
abandoned it and forgot about it.  Too bad there was no Net
then -- I could have put it abroad with so many other texts
of dubious worth, and possibly infected the world with a
little immunity.
