What if works of art were considered to be what they actually are--objects
or entities that
 only acquire value through a complex  and ongoing process of socialization
that endows them with  irrevocably intrinsic  vlaues makeing them part of
a collective system of values dispite  what ever might have been  the
intention of the individual who produced them
